Privacy Policy
Queue Picker for YouTube (“the Extension”) helps users select YouTube videos and Shorts, arrange them, and open them as a temporary playback queue.
Data the Extension handles
The Extension may process and store the following information locally in the user's browser:
- YouTube video IDs
- Video titles and thumbnail URLs
- Video duration information and temporary duration cache
- The current queue and queue order
- Extension settings and temporary interface state
How data is used
This information is used only to provide queue creation, queue editing, duration calculation, duplicate prevention, tab synchronization, and queue playback progress.
Storage and transmission
The Extension stores its queue data using Chrome extension storage. It does not operate its own backend server and does not sell, rent, or share user data with advertisers or data brokers.
YouTube access
The Extension reads supported YouTube page elements only as needed to identify selectable videos, exclude unsupported content such as live streams and playlists, create queues, and calculate progress for the currently open queue.
Limited Use
The Extension's use of information received from Chrome and YouTube pages is limited to providing or improving the Extension's user-facing functionality. The data is not transferred for personalized advertising, sold to third parties, or used to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
Data deletion
Users can clear the current queue from the Extension. Removing the Extension also removes extension-managed local data according to Chrome's storage behavior.
Third-party service
YouTube is operated by Google. Use of YouTube is subject to Google's and YouTube's own terms and privacy policies.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the Extension's functionality or data handling changes. The latest version will be published at this URL.
